McMillan and Hood notch five points each as Kelowna trounces the Cougars 7-3 @NHL

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - Brandon McMillan had a five-point night, notching three goals and two assists as the Kelowna Rockets trounced the Prince George Cougars 7-3 in Western Hockey League action Friday night.

Dylan Hood had a goal and four assists, while Tyler Myers, Colin Long and Cody Almond also scored for Kelowna (15-10-0-0).

Brian Matte, Alex Poulter and Brett Connolly replied for the Cougars (10-15-0-1).

Adam Brown made 26 saves for the Rockets, while Prince George netminding duty was split between Kevin Armstrong, who stopped 7 of 11 shots, and Joe Caligiuri, who made 13 saves on 16 shots.
