Mathew Dumba?s second-period goal gives Rebels 4-1 win over Pats

RED DEER, Alta. - Mathew Dumba?s second-period goal on the power play was the eventual winner as the Red Deer Rebels downed the Regina Pats 4-1 in WHL action Saturday.

Turner Elson scored a first-period goal for Red Deer (5-3-0) and John Persson and Tyson Ness scored late empty-net markers for the Rebels.

Brandon Davidson scored the lone goal for Regina (7-3-0).

Rebels netminder Patrik Bartosak stopped 26 shots, while Adam Beukeboom made 29 saves for the visitors.
