Maschmeyer's three assists lift Kamloops past Lethbridge 5-3 @NHLdotcom

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Defenceman Bronson Maschmeyer set up three goals Wednesday night, leading the Kamloops Blazers to a 5-3 WHL victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

Brendan Ranford, C.J. Stretch, Dylan Willick, Tyler Shattock, on a second-period penalty shot, and Shayne Wiebe scored for the Blazers (4-1-0).

Cam Braes, Carter Ashton and Craig Orfino replied for the Hurricanes (0-6-0), the only winless team in the WHL.

Kamloops goaltender Justin Leclerc stopped 37 shots, while Linden Rowat of the Hurricanes turned aside 21.
