Martinook scores three times, including OT winner, as Giants beat Rockets 5-4 @NHLdotcom

VANCOUVER - Jordan Martinook had three goals, including the winner in overtime, and an assist as the Vancouver Giants beat the visiting Kelowna Rockets 5-4 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Cain Franson had a goal and an assist for the Giants (40-26-5) while Brendan Gallagher added a single goal.

Brett Bulmer and Damon Severson had a goal and two assists apiece for the Rockets (30-31-10) as Zach Franko and Tyson Baillie each had a goal and an assist.

Adam Morrison made 25 saves for the win while Adam Brown stopped 25 shots in a losing effort.

Vancouver went 1 for 4 on the power play as Kelowna went 1 for 5.
