Martin nets winner as Sarnia clinches playoff spot with 2-1 win over Kingston

SARNIA, Ont. - Matt Martin scored the game-winner on a power play midway through the third period as the Sarnia Sting defeated the Kingston Frontenacs 2-1 on Saturday night to clinch a playoff spot in the Ontario Hockey League.

Jordan Hill also scored for Sarnia (31-24-3-3), while Mark Katic had two assists.

George Lovatsis had the lone goal for the Frontenacs (15-36-6-3).

Dan Spence made 28 saves for the Sting. Kingston netminder Mavric Parks stopped 36 shots.
