EVERETT, Wash. - Mark McNeill had a goal and an assist, leading the Prince Albert Raiders to a 3-2 victory over the Everett Silvertips on Tuesday night in Western Hockey League action.
Jonas Knutsen added a killer third goal midway through the third period on a long rebound, and the Raiders were able to withstand Everett's late push.
Josh Morrissey also scored for Prince Albert (3-5-1), while Eric Williams earned the win in goal with 27 saves.
Tyler Maxwell and Ryan Murray each posted a goal and an assist for Everett (1-3-2). Maxwell's goal was the 100th of his career, tying the franchise record set by Shane Harper from 2005-10.
Kent Simpson stopped 39 shots in goal for the Silvertips.
