The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the club has signed forward Taylor Beck to a one-year contract.

Beck was acquired by the Maple Leafs in a trade with the Nashville Predators yesterday in exchange for forward Jamie Devane. Last season, the St. Catharines, Ontario native collected 16 points (8 goals, 8 assists) in 62 regular season games with the Predators and also skated in five post-season games. The 24-year-old was selected by Nashville in the third round (70th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
