TORONTO - Randy Carlyle's coaching staff is complete.

The Toronto Maple Leafs officially hired assistant Dave Farrish on Sunday.

Farrish won a Stanley Cup with Carlyle in Anaheim and was the new coach's hand-picked selection to join a staff that also includes assistants Scott Gordon and Greg Cronin.

Carlyle replaced Ron Wilson behind the Leafs bench on Friday night and won his debut with the team a night later as Toronto beat Montreal 3-1.

Farrish spent seven seasons under Carlyle with the Ducks before getting fired in December.

The 55-year-old is a former NHL defenceman who brings more than 21 years of head coaching experience from the American Hockey League, International Hockey League and ECHL.
