Mahalak makes 29 saves as the Whalers edge the Knights 3-2

Alex Aleardi, Connor Carrick and Garrett Meurs each scored once for the Whalers (6-3-3), who have won four of their last five outings.
Chris Tierney and Max Domi scored a goal apiece for the Knights (8-4-1).
Kevin Bailie made 27 saves in a losing cause.
Neither club could produce on the power play as Plymouth went 0-for-3 and London 0-for-2.
