MacRae and Long score two goals each as Rockets beat Winter Hawks 4-2 @NHLdotcom

KELOWNA, B.C.-Myles MacRae had a power-play and shorthanded goal for Kelowna as the Rockets defeated the Portland Winter Hawks 4-2 in WHL action on Saturday night.

Colin Long also scored twice for Kelowna (16-9-2-2), which led 1-0 and 3-0 at the period breaks. Defencemen Tyson Barrie and Luke Schenn had three assists each.

Tristan King replied twice for Portland (5-21-0-0) with back-to-back markers midway through the third.

Torrie Jung made 20 saves for the Rockets, who have now won 11 of their past 16 games (11-2-1-2).

Jordan White stopped 30 shots for the Winter Hawks.
