KITCHENER, Ont. - Chris MacKinnon and Matthew Tipoff scored in the shootout to lift the Kitchener Rangers to a 4-3 win over the Windsor Spitfires in Ontario Hockey League action Friday night.
Jeremy Morin had a pair of goals for Kitchener (30-13-4), while Dan Kelly also tallied. Brandon Maxwell stopped six of eight shots before giving way to Mike Morrison 7:42 into the game. Morrison made 43 saves for the win.
Justin Shugg, Craig Duininck and Scott Timmins had markers for Windsor (36-7-5), while Philipp Grubauer turned aside 32 shots.
