Lowly Winter Hawks shock soaring Blades with overtime victory @NHLdotcom

SASKATOON - Troy Rutkowski scored in overtime as the Portland Winter Hawks shocked the Saskatoon Blades 4-3 in Western Hockey League action Wednesday.

Portland stopped Saskatoon's eight-game winning streak with their first road win of the season, and just their second overall. The Winter Hawks also ended their nine-game losing streak.

Riley Boychuk, Luke Walker and Brad Ross also scored for Portland (2-10-0-0), while Killian Hutt added three assists. The Winter Hawks moved within a point of Seattle for fourth place in the U.S. Division

Adam Chorneyko, Mike Reich and Travis Toomey replied for the Blades (9-4-1-0), who earned a point with the overtime loss and took a one point lead over the Swift Current Broncos atop the East Division.

Keith Hamilton made 30 saves for Portland while Adam Morrison stopped 24 shots for Saskatoon.
