Lightning re-sign Craig and sign Niskala @NHLdotcom

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -The Tampa Bay Lightning re-signed restricted free agent Ryan Craig to a two-year, $1.575 million contract on Wednesday.

Craig missed 72 games last season due to back and knee injuries. The forward has played in 127 NHL games, netting 30 goals and 57 points.

The Lightning also signed defenseman Janne Niskala to a one-year, $600,000 deal. He was acquired from the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday for a 2009 sixth-round draft choice.
