Lightning obtain Wanzig, Baby from Thrashers @NHLdotcom

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -The Tampa Bay Lightning traded defenseman Andy Delmore and forward Andre Deveaux to the Atlanta Thrashers for right wingers Kyle Wanvig and Stephen Baby on Thursday.

Delmore and Deveaux have been playing all season with Springfield of the AHL.

The 30-year-old Delmore was the AHL's top defenseman last season. With Springfield, he is fourth in scoring with 12 goals and 12 assists in 47 games.

Wanvig, who spent this season with Chicago of the AHL, has played in 64 NHL games - all with the Minnesota Wild. Baby, a 1999 draft pick of the Thrashers, has 28 goals and 32 assists in 179 career AHL games.

They were both assigned to Springfield.
