Leclerc stops 44 shots to lead Blazers to 3-1 win over Thunderbirds @NHLdotcom

KENT, Wash. - Justin Leclerc stopped 44 shots to backstop the Kamloops Blazers to a 3-1 win over the Seattle Thunderbirds in Western Hockey League action Wednesday.

C.J. Stretch, Cole Grbavac and Shayne Weibe scored for Kamloops while Jeremy Boyer added the lone goal for Seattle, a power play marker at 18:11 of the third period to end Leclerc's shutout bid.

Kamloops improved to 23-22-1-4 on the season. Seattle, 20-23-1-4, lost for the first time in regulation at the new ShoWare Center in Kent in front 2,427.

Jacob DeSerres made 23 saves for Seattle.
