Leafs centre Dave Bolland still has no target date to return from ankle injury @NHLdotcom

TORONTO - Dave Bolland has skated four times this week, but the Maple Leafs centre still has no target date to return from a severed ankle tendon.

Bolland spoke to reporters Saturday morning at Air Canada Centre about the injury and his rehab, which have cost him the past 34 games and likely several more.

Despite this progress, there's no certainty when Bolland will practise with his Toronto teammates, let alone return to game action.

The injury occurred Nov. 2 when he was cut by Canucks forward Zach Kassian's skate blade. Bolland had surgery soon after that.

Bolland returned to the ice to test out the ankle earlier in the week and skated again Saturday before the Leafs' morning skate.
