Laughton scores twice to lead the Generals over the Otters 4-1

OSHAWA, Ont. - Scott Laughton scored twice, including the winner, as the Oshawa Generals snapped a four-game losing streak with a 4-1 victory over the Erie Otters on Wednesday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Christian Thomas and Jimmy McDowell also scored for the Generals (14-18-4)

Greg McKegg scored the lone goal for the Otters (5-28-2).

Daniel Altshuller made 31 saves for the win while Tyson Teichmann stopped 36 of 40 shots in defeat.

Oshawa went 2-for-8 with the man advantage, while Erie failed to score on six power-play chances.
