Kulak scores twice to lead the Giants over the Silvertips 4-3 @NHLdotcom

VANCOUVER - Brett Kulak scored two goals, including the game winner, as the Vancouver Giants defeated the Everett Silvertips 4-3 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Riley Kieser and Anthony Ast also scored for the Giants (27-17-2), who snapped a three-game losing streak.

Cody Fowlie scored two goals for the Silvertips (9-28-9) while Kohl Bauml added a single.

Payton Lee stopped 19 shots for his first win of the season as Kent Simpson also stopped 19 shots in defeat.

Vancouver went 2 for 7 on the power play while Everett scored three times on five opportunities with the man advantage.
