Kiriakou scores twice, including OT winner, as Ottawa edges the Generals 3-2

OSHAWA, Ont. - Thomas Kiriakou scored the overtime winner Saturday afternoon as the Ottawa 67's defeated the Oshawa Generals 3-2 in Ontario Hockey League action.

The goal came with three minutes and 45 seconds into the extra period and was the overage forward's second of the night. Logan Couture scored the other goal for Ottawa (30-17-3-2), a game-tying marker with just 1:19 remaining in regulation.

Nick Esposito and Tony DeHart scored for the Generals (22-25-1-4).

Chris Perguini made 29 saves in goal for the 67's, while Neil Conway stopped 45 shots for Oshawa in a losing effort.
