Kane helps Jets to win against Flames @NHLdotcom

Evander Kane had a goal and an assist, and Paul Postma had two assists to help the Winnipeg Jets to a 4-1 preseason win against the Calgary Flames at MTS Centre on Saturday.

Blake Wheeler, Jacob Trouba and Bryan Little scored for the Jets; Ondrej Pavelec stopped 17 of 18 shots. Winnipeg begins the regular season on Oct. 9 at the Arizona Coyotes. The Jets were 3-4-0 in the preseason.

David Jones scored 9:17 into the game for Calgary. Jonas Hiller made 21 saves. The Flames, who were 5-4-0 in the preseason, host the Vancouver Canucks on Oct. 8.
