Justin Azevedo gets six points as the Rangers rout the Petes 9-4 @NHLdotcom

KITCHENER, Ont. - Justin Azevedo scored a hat trick and added three assists as the Kitchener Rangers routed the Peterborough Petes 9-4 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday afternoon.

Mike Duco and Brandon Mashinter both chipped in with two goals for Kitchener (29-4-1-2), while T.J. Battani also counted. Nazem Kadri scored a goal and added three assists.

Justin Soryal and John Armstrong got a goal and an assist for Peterbrough (14-19-0-2), while Pat Daley and Kenzie Sheppard also found the net.

Mavric Parks made 16 saves for the Rangers, while Trevor Cann allowed eight goals on 41 shots before being replaced by Jason Missiaen, who made six stops for the Petes.
