ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Jordan Foreman scored the lone goal of the shootout as the Niagara IceDogs defeated the Oshawa Generals 4-3 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday afternoon.
Foreman tied the game at 3-3 with a short-handed goal at 11:34 of the third period to send the game to overtime.
Stefan Legein added the other two Niagara goals.
Kevin Baker, Corey Cowick and Eric Regan scored for Oshawa (37-15-5-7).
Oshawa led 2-0 after one period and 2-1 after two.
Sebastian Dahm stopped 31 shots for Niagara (39-25-0-1), while Oshawa netminder Michal Neuvirth made 51 saves in a losing cause.
