Jerrid Sauer gets three points to lead the Tigers over the Hitmen @NHLdotcom

CALGARY - Defenceman Jerrid Sauer had a goal and two assists to lead the Medicine Hat Tigers to a 4-2 win over the Calgary Hitmen in Western Hockey League action Saturday night.

Colton Grant, Brennan Bosch and Daine Todd also scored for the Tigers (36-19-5-2), who beat the Hitmen (43-17-1-3) for the first time in five meetings this season. Goalie Ryan Holfeld made 34 saves, including 17 in the third period, as the Tigers won their third straight game.

Brock Nixon and Kyle Bortis replied with goals for the Hitmen, whose winning streak ended at two games. Goalie Dan Spence stopped 17 shots in a losing cause.
