Jenks has power-play winner as Plymouth Whalers edge Kitchener 3-2 @NHLdotcom

PLYMOUTH, Mich. - AJ Jenks had the power-play winner at 17:25 of the third period to lift the Plymouth Whalers to a 3-2 win over the Kitchener Rangers in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday night.

Tyler Seguin added a goal and two assists for the Whalers (24-19-1), while Michal Jordan also tallied. Matt Hackett stopped 24 shots.

Ben Thomson and Gabriel Landeskog scored for the Rangers (27-11-3), while Mavric Parks made 44 saves in goal.

Jenks, just back from winning a gold medal with the United States at the World Junior Championship, also assisted on Jordan's goal earlier in the third period that tied the game.

Seguin's three points kept him on top of the OHL scoring race, while Robbie Czarnik chipped in two assists as well.
