Jamie Benn scores twice, including OT winner, as Kelowna beats Chilliwack 3-2 @NHLdotcom

KELOWNA, B.C. - Jamie Benn scored twice for Kelowna, including the game-winning goal 1:07 into overtime, as the Rockets defeated the Chilliwack Bruins 3-2 in Western Hockey League action Friday night.

Lucas Bloodoff's first-period goal, his fourth of the season, opened the scoring for Kelowna (7-7-1-1) in the first of back-to-back games between the two teams. Benn's first of the evening, and fifth of the season, came at 13:05 of the second and tied the game.

Oscar Moller, with his co-league-leading 16th goal, and Brandon Campos replied for Chilliwack (10-4-2-0). All four regulation goals were scored on the power play.

Kris Westblom made 23 saves for the Rockets. Rookie Mark Friesen made 29 stops for Chilliwack.
