Jamie Benn game-time decision for Stars @NHLdotcom

DALLAS -- After seeing captain Brenden Morrow unexpectedly return to the ice in Thursday’s 2-1 shootout loss to the Anaheim Ducks, the Dallas Stars could see top-line center Jamie Benn, who has missed the past two games with a wrist injury, return in similar fashion Saturday night against the Chicago Blackhawks at American Airlines Center.

Benn participated in morning skate Saturday morning, as he did Thursday, and Stars coach Glen Gulutzan termed the 2012 All-Star a game-time decision.

"Jamie will be a game-time decision. Skated today, shot a few pucks and feels great other than the wrist, but he’ll be a game-time decision,” Gulutzan said.

Kari Lehtonen will start a seventh straight game in goal for Dallas, and rookie defenseman Jamie Oleksiak, a healthy scratch against Anaheim, will return to the ice and be paired alongside Alex Goligoski with Philip Larsen heading back to the bench.

It also appears Ryan Garbutt, a fixture on Dallas’ fourth line, will miss the game with a hand injury.

"Garbutt is probably out for today. Just kind of got the similar injury as Jamie," Gulutzan said. "So we'll see how [Benn] is and how [Garbutt] is and will warm up [Tomas Vincour] as the extra guy."

Corey Crawford will start in goal for the Blackhawks, and it appears defenseman Michal Rozsival will return to the ice for the first time since March 8 at the Colorado Avalanche.
