How loud is it? Game 6 decibel readings @NHLdotcom
How loud is it inside the Wachovia Center for Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final? aims to find out. We have a decibel meter packed alongside all the laptops, notebooks, cameras and pens, so we will provide some level of the noise and excitement inside the building at key parts of Game 6.

The top reading in Game 1 at the United Center was 121dB, recorded during the singing of the National Anthem (Game 1 decibel readings). Game 2's highest decibel mark was 122dB, also measured during the National Anthem (Game 2 decibel readings). The highest reading for Game 3, the first in Philly, was 114dB, recorded when Claude Giroux scored the overtime game-winner (Game 3 decibel readings). Game 4's decibel reading peaked at 118dB, measured just after Jeff Carter sealed the Flyers' victory with an empty net goal (Game 4 decibel readings). The highest mark in Game 5 (119dB) occurred when Dustin Byfuglien scored an empty netter (Game 5 decibel readings).

The decibel meter will be in tow throughout the Final, so we'll find out which fans -- Chicago or Philadelphia -- will raise the roof the most.
