Hodgson and Duchene lead Brampton to a 3-2 shootout win over Guelph @NHL

GUELPH, Ont. - Cody Hodgson tied the game with 21 seconds remaining in regulation and Matt Duchene scored the lone goal of the shootout to give the Brampton Battalion a 3-2 win over the Guelph Storm Friday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

The win extends Brampton's win streak to 13 games. Hodgson forced overtime when he scored with netminder Patrick Killeen on the bench for the extra attacker. It was Hodgson's 14th goal in 14 games.

Duchene also scored in regulation for the Battalion (15-6-0-0).

Guelph (12-7-1-2) got goals from Taylor Beck and Peter Holland.

Killeen made 22 saves in the Brampton net. Thomas McCollum stopped 36 shots for the Storm.
