Hodgman's two points help Erie put the Guelph Storm in sixth place @NHLdotcom

ERIE, Pa. - Justin Hodgman led the way with a goal and an assist as the Erie Otters defeated the Guelph Storm 3-1 on Sunday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Michael Liambas, Sean Jones and Luke Gazdic also scored for Erie (34-29-3-2), which got 28 saves from Jaroslav Janus.

Peter Holland had the lone reply for the Storm (35-26-4-3), who failed to move into fifth spot in the west and will face the third-place Saginaw Spirit in the opening round of the playoffs.

Guelph netminder Brandon Foote stopped 29 shots.
