Hockey players enjoying all Olympics has to offer
NHL.com @NHLdotcomAfter playing on the first day of the men’s Olympic hockey tournament, some players took the opportunity to explore some of the other events happening in Sochi.
Switzerland forward Nino Niederreiter and a few of his teammates watched a women’s curling match, while Sweden defenseman Erik Karlsson enjoyed some quality time in the sun with a few of his teammates.

Even those who played Thursday were keeping their eyes on other sports. American center David Backes tweeted his support for luger Erin Hamlin, who became the first American to win a medal in the sport when she won the bronze Tuesday.
