Hitmen win fourth straight after beating the Giants 6-4

VANCOUVER - The Calgary Hitmen picked up their fourth win in a row after defeating the host Vancouver Giants 6-4 on Wednesday in Western Hockey League action.

Danny Gayle and Collin Bowman led the Hitmen (21-16-3) offensively with a goal and an assist each while Jaynen Rissling, Brooks Macek, Jake Virtanen and Chase Clayton scored a goal apiece.

Jordan Martinook scored two goals for the Giants (24-14-2) as Neil Manning and Brodyn Nielsen added singles.

Chris Driedger made 20 saves for the win while Adam Morrison allowed five goals on 38 shots in a losing effort.

Calgary went 1 for 3 on the power play as Vancouver went 1 for 5.
