Harper's two points lift Everett Silvertips over Portland Winterhawks 4-3 @NHLdotcom

PORTLAND, Ore. - Shane Harper had a goal and an assist to lift the Everett Silvertips over the Portland Winterhawks 4-3 in Western Hockey League play Friday night.

Harper was left all alone in front of the net, just 16 seconds into the game. Everett (30-16-3) scored the rest of their goals on the power play, going three for four, to get their tenth win in a row. The Silvertips also got goals from Ryan Murray, Alex Theriau, and Byron Froese. Froese got the game winner at 17:27 of the third period.

Ryan Johansen scored on the powerplay for Portland (28-19-2), while Chris Francis and Riley Boychuk also scored.

Silvertips goalie Kent Simpson made 28 saves, while Mac Carruth stopped 26 shots.
