Frazer scores twice as Tigers eliminate Ice from WHL playoffs with 4-1 win @NHLdotcom

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Joey Frazer scored twice as the Tigers advanced to the second round of the Western Hockey League playoffs with a 4-1 win over the Kootenay Ice on Sunday.

Emerson Etem and Tristan King added singles for Medicine Hat, which took the best-of-seven series 4-2.

Drew Czerwonka had the lone goal for Kootenay.

Tigers goaltender Tyler Bunz made 23 stops, while at the other end Nathan Lieuwen stopped 20 shots.
