Flames' signing of Jokinen, Tanguay top forward list @NHLdotcom
Calgary Flames GM Darryl Sutter is a man who can admit a move or two may have gone off the tracks. That seems to be the case with both Olli Jokinen and Alex Tanguay, who went from ex-Flames to big parts of the puzzle in 2010-11 after re-signing with Calgary Thursday on the first day of free-agent signings in the NHL.

Other signings of note among free-agent forwards saw Ray Whitney move to the Phoenix Coyotes, Colby Armstrong join the Maple Leafs and enforcer Derek Boogaard sign on with the New York Rangers.
