Flames' Hudler, Wideman leave game with injuries @NHLdotcom

CALGARY -- Calgary Flames forward Jiri Hudler and defenseman Dennis Wideman each left a game against the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday night with upper-body injuries.

Hudler, who leads the Flames with 30 assists and 43 points, sustained the injury 19 seconds into the third period after taking a hit from Senators forward Clarke MacArthur and sliding hard into the boards.

It is unclear when Wideman sustained his injury. He didn't come out for the third period after playing 12:08 through the first 40 minutes. His final shift ended with 33 seconds remaining in the second.

The Flames announced each player would not return.
