Ferraro scores shootout winner as Red Deer shades Kamloops 2-1 @NHLdotcom

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Landon Ferraro's shootout goal gave the Red Deer Rebels a 2-1 WHL victory over the Kamloops Blazers on Tuesday night.

Ferraro was the only one of five shooters to score in the shootout. Scott Doucet scored in regulation for the Rebels (5-13-4-0), who halted a 10-game losing streak. Juuso Puustinen replied for the Blazers (6-10-1-0), who have lost four in a row.

Red Deer goaltender James Reimer stopped 19 shots, while the Blazers' James Priestner made 15 saves.
