Feaster returns to Lightning front office @NHLdotcom

The Tampa Bay Lightning named former general manager Jay Feaster to the position of executive director of community hockey development, the team announced Monday.

In his new role, Feaster will be working with local youth to help grow hockey in the Tampa Bay area. He will oversee and manage the Lightning's outreach to youth and high school hockey programs and further increase participation and build relationships with local arenas.

Feaster was the GM when the Lightning won their only Stanley Cup championship in 2004. He worked in their hockey operations department from 1998-2008. The 51-year-old most recently worked with the Calgary Flames and was let go as GM on Dec. 12, 2013.
