Eric Comrie makes 30 saves as Americans shut out Cougars 1-0 @NHL

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - Eric Comrie turned aside all 30 shots he faced and Nathan MacMaster's second period goal stood up as the winner as the Tri-City Americans beat the Prince George Cougars 1-0 in Western Hockey League actions Saturday.

Drew Owsley made 24 saves for the Americans (10-4-0), who lead the U.S. Division.

The Cougars (3-8-1) are last in the B.C. division.

Both teams combined to go 0-for-12 on the power play.
