Ennis scores overtime winner as Medicine Hat earns wild 7-6 win over Brandon @NHLdotcom

BRANDON, Man. - Tyler Ennis scored at 1:12 of overtime on the power play to give the Medicine Hat Tigers a 7-6 victory over the Brandon Wheat Kings in the Western Hockey League on Wednesday night.

Mikael Ahlen scored two goals, while Sean Ringrose, Colton Grant, Travis Dunstall and Linden Vey added singles for the Tigers (31-18-4-2), who led 4-3 after the first period and 5-3 following the second.

Nathan Green replied with two goals for the Wheat Kings (30-19-1-2), while Matt Lowry, Tyler Dittmer, Scott Glennie and Daniel Bartek added singles.

Brandon netminders Joe Caligiuri and Andrew Hayes combined for 21 saves, while Ryan Holfeld and Tomas Vosvrda teamed up to make 17 stops for Medicine Hat.
