Ducks sign veteran forward Green @NHLdotcom
Veteran forward Josh Green agreed Monday to a one-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks.

Green, 32, played last season for Modo in the Swedish Elite League, registering 12 goals and 20 points in 47 games. He last played in the NHL for the Ducks during the 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs, going scoreless in five games.

Originally a second-round pick of the Kings in the 1996 Entry Draft, Green has career totals of 35 goals and 74 points in 322 regular-season games for the Kings, Islanders, Oilers, Rangers, Capitals, Flames and Canucks. He also has an assist in 17 career postseason games, including his previous stint with the Ducks.
