Driedger makes 29 saves as the Hitmen shutout the Giants 2-0 @NHLdotcom

CALGARY - Chris Driedger made 29 saves as his Calgary Hitmen shutout the visiting Vancouver Giants 2-0 on Friday in Western Hockey League action.

Collin Bowman and Trevor Cheek each had a goal for the Hitmen (29-17-3), who won their fourth straight game.

Adam Morrison stopped 17 shots for the Giants, who have now dropped six of their last eight contests.

Neither club could score on the power play as Calgary went 0 for 7 and Vancouver 0 for 6.
