Di Salvo stops 40 for Barrie as Colts fend off Brampton to win 3-1 @NHLdotcom

BARRIE, Ont. - Peter Di Salvo stopped 40 of 41 shots, including 19 in the third period as the Barrie Colts held off the Brampton Battalion for a 4-1 win Saturday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Stefan Della Rovere, David Mazurek and Taylor Carnevale scored for Barrie (9-4-1).

Scott Tanski had the lone reply for the Battalion (5-6-1), who got 31 saves from rookie netminder Jacob Riley in his OHL debut.
