EVERETT, Wash. - Zack Dailey scored a fluke goal with one minute remaining in regulation to tie it, and the Everett Silvertips won in a shootout as they defeated the Vancouver Giants 4-3 Saturday night in WHL action.

Dailey's shot from the slot took a deflection, then looped over the head of Vancouver goaltender Jamie Tucker, who never saw the puck, to tie the score 3-3.

Everett then won the shootout 2-1, with Tyler Maxwell and Shane Harper scoring for the Silvertips.

Dan Iwanski and Radko Gudas scored the other goals for Everett (2-1-0), while Thomas Heemskerk made 34 saves in net.

J.T. Barnett scored twice to lead Vancouver (3-1-1).

Barnett, who scored one goal last season, has six this season. James Henry also scored for the Giants and Tucker made 30 saves.
