Curtis Valk scores twice as Medicine Hat Tigers beat Prince Albert Raiders 6-1 @NHLdotcom

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Curtis Valk scored twice as the Medicine Hat Tigers beat the Prince Albert Raiders 6-1 in Western Hockey League play Wednesday.

James Bettauer, Reid Petryk, Emerson Etem and Hunter Shinkaruk added one goal each for Medicine Hat (15-8-3).

Kellan Tochkin had the lone goal for Prince Albert (5-19-2).

The Tigers' power play capitalized on 3-of-7 chances while goaltender Tyler Bunz made 37 saves.

Eric Williams stopped 21 shots in net for the Raiders.
