GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -Steven Reinprecht scored twice and rookie Viktor Tikhonov added a short-handed goal to lead the Phoenix Coyotes to a 5-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings in their preseason finale Saturday night.

Kevin Porter added a goal and two assists, Shane Doan scored a power-play goal and Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 17 shots over two scoreless periods for the Coyotes, who won for just the second time (2-5-1) in the preseason.

Anze Kopitar had a goal and an assist and Dustin Brown also scored for the Kings, who lost in regulation for the first time in seven games (3-1-3). Los Angeles ends its preseason Sunday in San Jose.

Reinprecht gave Phoenix a 1-0 lead at 10:08 of the first period when he backhanded a rebound shot past Kings goalie Jonathan Quick. He added his second goal at 16:35, again on the backhand, to make it 2-0.

Porter extended the lead to 3-0 at 10:26 of the second period when he gained control of the puck just outside the Los Angeles zone and rocketed a shot from the high slot off Quick's left pad.

Tikhonov also benefited from a deflection, bouncing a shot off Quick's left skate and into the net for a 4-0 lead.

Brown ended Phoenix's shutout bid when he scored from the side of the net on a shot off the glove of a diving Mikael Tellqvist, who relieved Bryzgalov at the start of the third. Kopitar scored with 5:09 left, redirecting Sean O'Donnell's shot from the left point past Tellqvist.

Doan made it 5-2 on his first goal of the preseason with 1:46 to go.

Quick, who entered the game with a 1.33 goals-against average, surrendered four goals on 24 shots over two periods before he was pulled in favor of Erik Ersberg.
