Coyle scores winner as Tigers get back into WHL first-round series with Ice @NHLdotcom

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Jace Coyle scored the winning goal as the Medicine Hat Tigers beat the Kootenay Ice 4-3 in Western Hockey League playoff action Tuesday.

The Ice lead the best-of-seven first-round series 2-1. Game 4 is Wednesday in Medicine Hat.

Emerson Etem, Wacey Hamilton and Joey Frazer also scored for the Tigers.

James Martin replied for the Ice.

Tyler Bunz turned away 20 shots in goal for the Tigers. Todd Mathews stopped 23 of 26 shots in goal for the Ice.
