Cowen scores twice as Red Deer Rebel beat Medicine Hat Tigers 4-2

RED DEER, Alta. - Josh Cowen scored twice as the Red Deer Rebels defeated the Medicine Hat Tigers 4-2 in Western Hockey League play Friday night.

Nathan Green and Willie Coetzee netted the other goals for Red Deer (8-8-0), while Darcy Kuemper turned aside 42 shots.

Taylor Gal and Tristan King replied for Medicine Hat (8-6-4). Tyler Bunz made 27 saves in the Tigers net.
