Cousins' second-period goal stands up as Greyhounds defeat Sting 5-2

SARNIA, Ont. - Nick Cousins scored the go-ahead goal late in the second period as the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds defeated the Sarnia Sting 5-2 on Thursday in the Ontario Hockey League.

Bradon Alderson and David Quesnele each scored in the first period for Sault Ste. Marie (7-4-0).

Nail Yakupov and Craig Hottot tied it up in the second for the Sting (8-3-1).

Cousins scored with six seconds left in the second period, while Brett Findlay and Michael Schumacher gave the Greyhounds some breathing room with goals in the third.
