MISSISSAUGA, Ont. - Defenceman David Corrente's second goal of the season late in the third period broke a 2-2 tie and lifted the Mississauga-St. Michael's Majors to a 4-2 victory over the Guelph Storm on Sunday afternoon in the Ontario Hockey League.

Corrente blasted a shot from the left point that cleanly beat Guelph netminder Cody St. Jacques on the blocker side. The goal came on the 52nd shot of the game for the Majors (20-5-2).

Second-year forward Devante Smith-Pelly figured in all four goals for the Majors, scoring once and adding three assists. Rookie defenceman Stuart Percy and Riley Brace had the other Mississauga goals.

Brace's goal was scored into an empty net in the last minute of regulation time, after the Storm pulled St. Jacques in a bid to tie the game and force extra time.

Matthew Sisca scored once and set up Tim Campbell for the other goal for the Storm (12-13-2). Campbell's goal tied the score 2-2 midway through the third period.

Chris Carrozzi stopped 21 of 23 shots in the Mississauga net.
