Cimadamore scores twice as Kitchener Rangers edge Saginaw 3-2 in OT @NHLdotcom

KITCHENER, Ont. - Julian Cimadamore had a pair of goals including the winner as the Kitchener Rangers rallied past the Saginaw Spirit 3-2 in overtime in Ontario Hockey League playoff action Friday night.

Jason Akeson had the other marker for Kitchener, while Brandon Maxwell made 27 saves for the win.

Tyler Murovich and Ivan Telegin gave the Spirit a 2-0 lead before the Rangers turned it around. Edward Pasquale stopped 51 shots.

Kitchener leads the series 1-0. The Rangers will travel to Saginaw for Game 2 at 7:11 p.m. Saturday night.
